Daisy Meadows » est un nom de plume utilisé par un groupe de quatre auteurs ayant collaboré pour créer la série de livres pour enfants Rainbow Magic, très populaire. Les auteurs individuels sont Narinder Dhami, Sue Bentley, Linda Chapman et Sue Mongredien, qui ont tous connu le succès dans leurs carrières d'écriture respectives.
Narinder Dhami est née à Wolverhampton, en Angleterre, et a obtenu un diplôme en anglais de l'Université de Birmingham en 1980. Après avoir enseigné dans des écoles primaires et secondaires pendant plusieurs années, elle a commencé à écrire à temps plein. Dhami a publié de nombreuses réécritures d'histoires Disney populaires et a écrit les séries Animal Stars et Babes. Elle vit à Cambridge, en Angleterre, avec son mari et ses chats.
Sue Bentley est née à Northampton, en Angleterre, et a travaillé dans une bibliothèque après ses études. Elle a commencé à écrire pour les enfants une fois que ses propres enfants ont commencé l'école. Bentley est l'auteur des séries Magic Kitten, Magic Puppy et S Club et vit dans le Northamptonshire. Linda Chapman a écrit plus de 50 livres de fiction pour enfants, dont les séries My Secret Unicorn, Stardust, Not Quite a Mermaid et Unicorn School. Elle vit dans le Leicestershire avec son mari et ses filles.
Sue Mongredien est née en 1970 et a grandi à Nottingham, en Angleterre. Elle a publié plus de 100 livres pour enfants, dont les séries Adventures of Captain Pugwash, The Magic Key, Frightful Families et Oliver Moon. Mongredien a également contribué à de nombreux titres de la série Sleepover Club et écrit des livres d'images. Elle a créé les Royal Ballet School Diaries sous le nom de plume Alexandra Moss et vit avec sa famille à Bath, en Angleterre.
La série Rainbow Magic présente différents groupes de fées comme personnages principaux, dont les fées Jewel, Weather, Pet, Petal et Sporty. La série a connu une grande popularité auprès des jeunes lecteurs et l'illustratrice Georgie Ripper a remporté le prix Macmillan d'illustration pour son travail sur la série.
