Kevin Wilson est un auteur largement primé, connu pour son storytelling unique et captivant. Né et élevé à Sewanee, Tennessee, Wilson est diplômé du programme MFA de l'Université de Floride. Ses écrits ont été largement reconnus, lui valant des bourses de prestigieuses institutions telles que la MacDowell Colony, Yaddo et le KHN Center for the Arts.
Wilson a publié plusieurs recueils de nouvelles et romans, dont Tunneling to the Center of the Earth, Baby You’re Gonna Be Mine, The Family Fang, Perfect Little World, et Nothing to See Here. Son travail a été présenté dans des publications estimées telles que Ploughshares, Southern Review, One Story, A Public Space, Best American Short Stories 2020 et 2021, et The PEN/O. Henry Prize Stories 2012. En 2019, son roman Nothing to See Here est devenu un best-seller du New York Times et une sélection du book club Read with Jenna.
En plus de sa carrière d'écrivain prospère, Wilson est également professeur associé dans le département d'anglais à l'Université du Sud, où il enseigne l'écriture. Il est marié à la poétesse Leigh Anne Couch, et ils ont deux fils, Griff et Patch. Wilson continue de résider à Sewanee, Tennessee, où il puise son inspiration pour son écriture dans son environnement et sa communauté. Son dernier roman, Now is Not the Time to Panic, a été publié en novembre 2022.
