Liz Ireland est une autrice très prolifique, ayant écrit plus de quarante œuvres de romance, de fiction pour femmes et de mystère. Elle s'est imposée comme une écrivaine polyvalente, ses histoires couvrant divers genres incluant la romance young adult, le mystère cozy, la romance historique et la romance générale.
Née au Texas, Liz a grandi dans une maison remplie de livres, ce qui a attisé sa passion pour les histoires. Elle a poursuivi sa passion pour le récit en décrochant un Bachelor of Fine Arts en Théâtre à l'Université Southern Methodist de Dallas. Après son déménagement à New York, Liz a occupé une série d'emplois dans l'industrie de l'édition avant de devenir rédactrice de fiction, un rôle qu'elle occupe depuis deux décennies.
