Robin Lee Hatcher est une auteure best-seller, reconnue pour ses récits chaleureux et chargés en émotions, traitant de la foi, du courage et de l'amour. Elle a écrit plus de 90 romans et novellas, avec plus de cinq millions d'exemplaires de ses livres vendus. Née et élevée aux États-Unis, Hatcher réside actuellement dans l'Idaho avec son mari, partageant sa maison avec un petit chien Papillon exigeant et un chat tuxedo pointilleux. Ses enfants sont adultes et elle apprécie son rôle de mère et de grand-mère. Lorsqu'elle ne écrit pas, Hatcher aime passer du temps avec sa famille, explorer la belle campagne de l'Idaho, le journal créatif biblique, lire des livres qui la font pleurer, regarder des films romantiques et planifier de manière décorative.
Hatcher a commencé sa carrière d'écrivain sur le marché général, écrivant des livres de loisirs. Cependant, après s'être convertie en 1997 et avoir accepté son appel à écrire des histoires de foi, d'amour et de courage, elle a commencé à publier ses romans sous cinq séries principales : Sisters of Bethlehem Spring, Coming to America, Where the Heart Lives, Hart's Crossing, et Kings Meadow Romance. Ses livres ont été traduits en plusieurs langues, dont le chinois, le néerlandais et le français.
